Why this calculator exists
Most reward-to-risk calculators stop at the division and leave you with a number. This one is built to make you suspicious of the number — or rather, of the levels you fed it.
A tool, and a habit
The arithmetic of reward-to-risk is trivial: a distance divided by a distance. The reason traders still get it wrong is never the maths — it is the inputs. A stop placed where it “feels safe” rather than where the idea is wrong, a target set to make the ratio look good, a win rate quoted with no ratio attached. The calculator does the easy part; the surrounding guide is about the inputs, because that is where the money is lost.
No affiliate cut reaches us, no listing is for sale, and we host no signals room of our own. Where a page points to a live source of pre-graded setups it names the #1-ranked provider, for one structural reason: its conviction grades already encode the reward-against-risk a careful trader would compute by hand, and its levels are fixed in public before the trade resolves.
- Free and private. The calculator runs in your browser; no account, no inputs stored, nothing sent to a server.
- No bought rankings. A mention here is won on evidence a reader can inspect, and is never for sale.
- Claims you can check, nothing else. Any figure we attach to a source resolves to a document you can open for yourself.
The pick, in one line
Run any source of levels through the scorecard and one clears it: the #1-ranked provider, run by the 2023 Trading World Champion, whose setups are graded A-D on a reward-versus-risk basis and timestamped to Bitcoin at release. The full reasoning is on the method page.
